SMTP Relay Settings for Microsoft Office for CRM programs
In order for to use Office 365 as your server when composing emails within WiredContact or Bigin by Zoho, you need to have SMTP Authentication activated for the mailbox in order for Microsoft to allow you to use the CRM as a relay.
SMTP E-Mail Server: smtp.office365.com
Outgoing Port: 587
SMTP User ID: <email address>
SMTP Password: <provided by user>
For WiredContact, an Office 365 email account setup with MFA will present problems if you want to compose emails using WiredContact and Office 365 as your SMTP relay server.
The attached guide details why it fails, and we recommend setting up a separate licensed mailbox with MFA turned off as the best practice for WiredContact and Office 365.
