Part 1 — Set up your Zoho MCP server

Go to the Zoho MCP portal

Visit mcp.zoho.com and sign in with your Zoho account — same credentials you use for Bigin.

Create a new MCP server

In the "Welcome to Zoho MCP" section, type a name for your server (letters and numbers only — no spaces or special characters), then click Create server.

Add Bigin tools

Click Add Tools, then search for and select Bigin. You'll see a list of available tools — pick the ones you need (e.g. view records, manage deals, add contacts), then click Add Now.

Authorize Bigin access

Zoho will prompt you to authorize the connection to your Bigin org. Follow the on-screen steps to grant access — this ties the MCP server to your Bigin data.

Copy your MCP URL

Click the Connect tab in the left sidebar. Under "Server URL," click the copy icon. Keep this URL — you'll paste it into Claude in Part 2.

Note: Each server gets a unique, secure URL. If you ever click Regenerate API Key, you'll receive a new URL and will need to re-add it to Claude.

Part 2 — Connect it to Claude

Open Claude integrations

Go to claude.ai/settings/integrations. You need to be an org admin to add integrations — once added, all org members can use it.

Add the integration

Click Add integration, give it a name (e.g. Zoho Bigin), paste in the MCP URL you copied in Step 5, then click Add.

Use it in a chat

Open a new chat, click Search and tools, pick your Zoho Bigin connection, select the tools you want active, and start asking in plain English.

Example prompts to try:
  • "Show me all open deals in Bigin and flag anything overdue."
  • "Add a new contact: Jane Smith at Acme Corp, jane@acme.com."
  • "Summarize my pipeline activity from the past two weeks."

⚠️ Claude can see MCP but can't load data?

In Zoho, go to Settings → Developer Space → API and confirm that API access is enabled for your user profile.

👥 Team access

Once an admin adds the integration, everyone in the Claude org can use it. Only the admin can manage or remove it.
